“Thelma & Louise” Original Painting oil on canvas

“Thelma & Louise” were a pair of draft horses that caught my eye and imagination while visiting Deadwood, South Dakota. They were in the local parade, where their attitude was prominently displayed. The high-strung Diva tossed her head, while the ‘here-we-go-again’ eye roll of her companion steadfastly continued, keeping her grounded. I had to immortalize this scene in oils as soon as I was able.
